Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transmission system by which the encoding error rate is reduced. CONSTITUTION: In a data receiver, a detection means 10 is used to determine a symbol value from a received signal. For the purpose of reducing an influence of a cyclo-stationary noise signal, a symbol sequence is extracted from the input signal sampled at different points of time, and plural detectors 12 and 14 which are simultaneously operated are used. A symbol sequence whose corresponding reliability measure indicates a maximum reliability is carried to a receiver output through a selection means based on the reliability measures simultaneously extracted by plural detectors 12 and 14.
