PURPOSE: To produce the transmission type screen which is small in unit lens pitch and can deal with a high-fineness liquid crystal PTV.

CONSTITUTION: One lens shape is cut on a blank material for the metallic mold by means of at least three pieces of bits 43; a bit 43 having the shape of an arc-shaped convex lens shape existing at the center of the lens and two pieces of bits 43 having the shapes of a total reflection part for totally reflecting incident light and an exist part for ejecting the incident light outside the lens. The transmission type screen having lenticular lenses of ≤0.3mm unit pitch is molded by using the metallic molds.
