Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid rotation loss by a generator when an engine is stopped and a vehicle is traveled by only a motor, to avoid loss of electric energy for electrically fixing the generator when traveling at high speed and to prevent torque assist by the generator from being restricted by a constraining condition of a planetary gear, in a hybrid vehicle connecting the engine, the motor and the generator with the planetary gear.
SOLUTION: This transmission has a first power transmission path transmitting an output of an engine 11 to a vehicle drive shaft 15 via a planetary gear 18 connected with a motor B 13, a second power transmission path transmitting the output of the engine 11 to the vehicle drive shaft 15 via gears 16, 17 and a power transmission switching means switching the first power transmission path and the second power transmission path.
