To provide a transmission which buffers an excessive torque input to a transmission.
In the transmission which includes: a gear (30) which rotates by rotation from the first rotary shaft (21); and a rotating member (40), in which a first spline (35b) with a smaller diameter than that of the gear (30) is formed and which includes a dog clutch (35) which is rotatable coaxially with the gear (30) and a second spline (45a) which engages with the first spline (35b) and transmits the rotation of the gear (30) to the second rotary shaft (22), the dog clutch (35) is latched to the gear (30) by an urging force of a spring (52) and the dog clutch (35) relatively rotates with the gear (30) when a torque exceeding the urging force of the spring (52) is input to the gear (30).
