A transmissive screen 10 includes: a Fresnel lens layer 22 disposed at an incident side of imaging light and having a refraction type Fresnel lens feature; and a light-controlling layer 32 disposed at a light-exiting side for light and including a light-transmitting part 322 and a light-absorbing part 323; and the screen has a curved feature giving a curved screen surface. The light-transmitting part 322 and the light-absorbing part 323 are alternately arranged along the light-exiting side surface of the light-controlling layer 32. The light-absorbing part 323 has a substantially wedge-like cross-sectional feature; and a unit lens 221 has a lens angle α set in such a manner that when the light exiting from a lens surface 222 enters the light-controlling layer 32, the light enters at an incident angle equal to or larger than the critical angle with respect to the interface between the light-transmitting part 322 and the light-absorbing part 323.
