Abstract:
To provide a transmitter capable of dynamically correcting a DC offset even in a UMTS which continues transmission, etc.
Two or more quadrature modulators are arranged in the transmitter, and the transmission is performed by switching the quadrature modulators by every transmission slot. Since a specific quadrature modulator is not used in two or more continuous transmission slots, the specific quadrature modulator becomes an object for DC offset calibration during a period when it does not take charge of the transmission, and a DC offset control circuit 129 executes calibration of the DC offset to the object for DC offset calibration.
