Title:
TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER FOR ARRAY ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3916894
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter-receiver for array antenna, that is made small in size, low in power consumption and enhanced in installation performance.
SOLUTION: A transmission system comprises optical transmission lines 4, 5, 6 for applying electrooptic conversion to N systems (N is a natural number) of RF signals, transmitting the converted signal through optical fibers and applies photoelectric conversion to received wireless signals, an N-input N-output multi-port amplifier 7 for amplifying N-systems of photoelectric converted wireless signals, and a transmission filter that passes through the transmission frequency band components of the amplified wireless signals, and a reception system is provided with a reception filter that passes through a desired reception band component of the N reception systems from a signal received by an antenna 1, a reception amplifier 10 that amplifies the N-systems of received signals subjected to band limit, and optical transmission circuits 11, 12 and 13 that apply electroptic conversion to the amplified reception signals and applies photoelectric conversion to the transmitted reception signals.
