Abstract:
To provide a transmitter capable of transmitting signals with a transmission method suitable for actual environment.SOLUTION: A transmitter 10A includes: a modulation circuit 11A that is configured to modulate signals by performing mapping of a data string only to four signal points each of which has the phase different by 90 degrees from the neighboring signal points, which are four signal points including at least two signal points in which the amplitudes are different from each other by means of QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation); and a transmission circuit 18A that is configured to allot the data strings which are mapped to the four signal points by means of modulation by the modulation circuit 11A to subcarriers OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) of which are different from each other and transmit the same via radio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
