Abstract:
A transmission apparatus comprises: an error-correcting encoder configured to perform error-correcting on a bit sequence to generate a coded bit sequence; a mapper configured to modulate the coded bit sequence to generate a first symbol sequence and a second symbol sequence; a signal processor comprising a first phase changer, a second phase changer, a precoder, a third phase changer, a first inserter and a second inserter; wherein the precoder is configured to perform precoding on the first symbol sequence and the second symbol sequence to generate a first precoded signal and a second precoded signal, wherein a phase change after precoding is applied by the third phase changer to the second precoded signal; the first inserter inputs the first precoded signal, a pilot symbol signal, a preamble signal a control information symbol signal and a control signal and outputs, based on information about a frame configuration included in the control signal, a first modulated signal; the second inserter inputs the second precoded signal, a pilot symbol signal, the preamble signal, the control information symbol signal and the control signal and outputs, based on the information about the frame configuration included in the control signal, a second modulated signal; a first radio section and a second radio section configured to transmit the first modulated signal and the second modulated signal via a first antenna section and a second antenna section, respectively; wherein the first phase changer and/or the second phase changer are configured to apply, when a phase change before precoding is enabled, at least one of a first phase change before precoding on the first symbol sequence and a second phase change before precoding on the second symbol sequence, respectively, an amount Vp(i) of the first phase change before precoding and an amount vp(i) of the second phase change before precoding being switched symbol by symbol.
