Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost of a transmitting belt such as a V-belt or V-ribbed- belt, with environmental protection considered.
SOLUTION: In a wrapped type V-belt WB; wherein over and under cord layers 3 and 4 are provided respectively on the upper and bottom surface sides of an adhesive rubber layer 2 with the cable cords 1 embedded, and a bottom rubber layer 5 is provided on the bottom surface side of the under cord layer 4; the respective over and under cord layers 3 and 4, and the bottom rubber layer 5 are constituted of a rubber composition, mixed with recycled powdered rubber in an unvulcanized condition in a manufacturing process, in this case, short fibers 10, contained in the powdered rubber, are oriented in a nearly belt width direction.
