To provide a transparent aqueous composition which stably contains ubiquinone having high crystallinity and not having good solubility in oils, in water, has excellent transparency, is free from stickiness and the like, and has good usability.

This transparent aqueous composition is characterized by containing the following components (a) and (b); (a) ubiquinone and (b) an oil having an IOB (inorganic/organic balance) value of 0.1 to 0.4, in water. Also, the transparent aqueous composition is characterized by containing the component (a) in an amount of 0.0001 to 0.05 mass% and (b) the component (b) in an amount of 0.0004 to 0.12 mass%.
