Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transparency, gas barrier properties to oxygen or steam, etc., impact resistance and to provide after-processability by laminating a first thin film and a second thin film with at least two kinds of inorg. oxides on one face of a biaxially drawn nylon film base material. SOLUTION: This transparent barrier nylon film 1 consists of a constitution provided by laminating the first thin film 3 and the second thin film 4 with at least two kinds of inorg. oxides on one face of a biaxially drawn nylon film 2. Practically, as the first thin film 3, a metallized film of an inorg. oxide is provided on one face of the biaxially drawn nylon film 2 by a physical metallizing method and in addition, as the second thin film 4, a metallized film of an inorg. oxide is provided by a plasma chem. deposition method. As the first thin film 3, a thin film prepd. by making an inorg. oxide such as silica amorphous (non-crystalline) is used and as the thin film of silica as the second thin film 4, an org. silicon compd. is used as the raw materials.
