To provide a transparent conductive substrate having high conductivity, low reflectance, weather resistance, chemical resistance, or the like and a visible light transmission factor of a transparent double layer controlled in a predetermined range, its manufacturing method, a display device using this substrate, a coating solution for forming a transparent conductive layer, and the like.
This transparent conductive substrate has a transparent substrate and the transparent double layer comprising a transparent conductive layer and a transparent coat layer formed on the substrate in order, and the transparent conductive layer has gold-silver noble metal fine particles having a mean particle size of 1-100 nm, colored pigment fine particles having a mean particle size of 5-200 nm, and a binder matrix as a main component, and contains 1-40 pts.wt. noble metal fine particles to 1 pts.wt. colored pigment fine particles. The transparent double layer has a surface resistance of 10-5000 Ω/(square), a reflectance of 0-2.5%, a visible light transmission factor of 40-75%, and a standard deviation of transmission factor in wave length every 5 nm in visible light region of 0-5%.
