To provide a transparent, electrically conductive coated film-forming coating liquid which forms a transparent, electrically conductive coated film which has a low surface resistivity of from about 102 to 104 Ω/square, shows an excellent antistatic effect, anti-reflection effect and electromagnetic-screening property, has an excellent surface flatness/evenness, adhesion to substrates, chemical resistance, etc., and possessed an excellent appearance.

This transparent, electrically conductive coated film-forming coating liquid contains metal fine particle, a sulfur compound and a polar solvent. As the sulfur compound, at least one chosen from carbon disulfide, a mercapto group-containing organic compound, a mercapto group-containing silane compound and/or their hydrolytic polycondensates, is used. Preferably, the weight ratio of the sulfur compound to the metal fine particle in the coating liquid is from 0.005 to 0.5.
