Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a transparent electroconductive ink composition which can give a film which can simultaneously meet both of transparency and electroconductivity by printing and which comprises a fine semiconductive metal oxide powder and an epoxy compound in specified amounts.

CONSTITUTION: This transparent electroconductive ink composition comprises at least 45pts.wt., (in terms of nonvolatiles) fine semiconductive metal oxide powder (A) of a mean particle diameter ≤0.5μ (e.g., a fine powder comprising in oxide and antimony oxide or a fine powder comprising indium oxide and tin oxide) and at least 2pts.wt. (in terms of nonvolatiles) epoxy compound (B) (a glycidyl ether or glycidyl ester epoxy compound is preferable from the viewpoints of transparency and electroconductivity). This ink composition can give a paint film which can simultaneously meet both transparency and electroconductivity by printing.
