Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the transparent gas barrier composite film material having a metal oxide vapor deposition membrane being a gas barrier layer excellent in light permeability in a visible region while permitting ultraviolet rays to transmit at the same time and having ultraviolet cutting properties while keeping extremely excellent gas barrier properties.
SOLUTION: This film material consists of a polymeric film base material 1 and the gas barrier layer 2 comprising a metal or metal oxide formed at least on the single surface of the base material 1 by a gaseous phase growing method. In this case, a resin layer 3 containing ultrafine particles is formed on the gas barrier layer 2 to obtain a transparent gas barrier composite film material having ultraviolet cutting properties.
