Title:
TRANSPARENT PHOTOSENSITIVE DRUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6478278
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a back exposure recording type electrophotographic recorder which is manufacture at low cost and easy to handle and maintain by winding and fixing a transparent photosensitive body film formed by laminating a transparent conductive layer and a photoconductive layer on a transparent base film.

CONSTITUTION: When electrophotographic recording is performed by using a transparent photosensitive drum, an optical system for exposure is incorporated and back exposure recording is performed, but a cylindrical base 1 is a transparent body. Further, the photosensitive film is a transparent body formed by laminating the transparent conductive layer and photoconductive layer in order. Therefore, the optical system for exposure is arranged in the cylindrical base body 1 and exposure is performed from the inside to attain the back exposure recording. Further, the photosensitive film 2 consists of the lamination of the transparent conductive layer and photoconductive layer, so a latent image is formed by projecting light. This photosensitive film 2 is stuck and fixed on the outer periphery of the transparent cylindrical base body 1. Consequently, the back exposure recording type electrophotographic recorder is obtained which is manufactured at low cost and easy to handle and maintain.
