The transparent resin composition comprises 99.9 to 80 wt.% N-substituted maleimide/olefin copolymer comprising 40 to 60 mol% N-substituted maleimide residue units and 60 to 40 mol% olefin residue units and having a number-average molecular weight of 1×103 to 5×106 and 0.1 to 20 wt.% organopolysiloxane and desirably comprises an acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer in addition to the above components. The transparent film is made from the same.
