An apparatus constituted so that an endless belt 15 is strapped over a first cooling roll 13 covered with an elastic material 18 and a second cooling roll 14, and a third cooling roll 16 to be in contact with the first cooling roll 13 through a resin sheet 11 and the belt 15 is used. The resin sheet 11 containing a polypropylene thermoplastic elastomer and an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin is almost simultaneously brought into contact with the belt 15 and the third cooling roll 16 to be introduced into the nip of the first and third cooling rolls 13, 16 and the resin sheet 11 is flatly pressed under pressure by the rolls 13, 16 to be cooled while the elastic material 18 is elastically deformed.
