To provide a transparent sound insulating board which is excellent not only in weatherability and impact resistance hardly causing scattering of broken pieces even when it is broken by receiving a strong impact but also in transparency and visibility, and a method for manufacturing the transparent sound insulating board.

An inventive transparent sound insulating board is constituted of an acrylic resin layer (A); a soft acrylic resin layer which contains at least a copolymer having a monomer unit composition of 30-85 wt.% of acrylic ester units, 10-69.99 wt.% of methacrylate ester units, 0-49.99 wt.% of other monofunctional monomer units, and 0.01-5 wt.% of polyfunctional monomer units, and organic polybasic acid ester; and an acrylic resin layer (B), which are laminated in this order.
