To provide a transport apparatus capable of coping with an object to be transported of various plate thicknesses by one cam without adjustment for the object to be transported having a different plate thickness.
The apparatus has a clamper 16 having upper jaw/lower jaws 28, 30 for fixing, which are arranged oppositely at both sides of a transport route 26 of a play work 22 and conduct fixing/opening action for the work 22, a gripper 18 having a pair of upper jaw/lower jaws 38, 49 for transport, which conduct actions for fixing/transport/opening/return, and a lower jaw drive mechanism 20 alternately elevating respective lower jaws 30, 40 of the clamper 16/gripper 18. The lower jaw drive mechanism has a cradle 76, in which one end side is connected to an inlet side through a link 80 and the other end is supported by a coil spring 81 as freely oscillating, and a pendulum 78, in which one end side is rotatably supported to a fixed pin and the other end side is rotatably connected to the other end side of the cradle 76.
