PURPOSE: To provide a transport carriage which can change the directions of only its body and traveling device with a load placed on a load deck for spin-turning under a light load and can change the placing direction of the traveling direction of the carriage body.

CONSTITUTION: A device for separating or positioning a carriage body 1 from/ onto the road surface 24 by lifting a column 8 provided with a load deck 7 from the carriage body 1 equipped with a traveling device, and a device for relatively-rotating the column 8 and the carriage body 1 by rotating the carriage body 1 to the column 8 with the traveling device separated from the road surface and rotating the column 8 to the carriage body 1 with the traveling device positioned on the road surface 24 are provided.
