Abstract:
To reduce resistance when a transport catheter is introduced in a blood vessel or reciprocated in the blood vessel.SOLUTION: A transport catheter 2 is provided for transporting an intravascular indwelling device (e.g., stent graft 11 or the like). The transport catheter includes: a catheter body 21 having flexibility, and multiple tip side components constituting a portion of the tip side are configured to be separated to each other; and restoration means (elastic member 25) for restoring the separated multiple tip side components to a state being not separated. The restoration means is arranged in a portion (recess 21d) other than a maximum diameter portion (large diameter part 21a) where the radial length being substantially perpendicular to an axial direction in the catheter body is the largest.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
