PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device that can prevent a sheet, which is transported back to a position immediately under a recording head, from contacting an image forming section.SOLUTION: A transport device 1 is mounted on an image forming apparatus 100 that forms an image on a sheet S. The transport device 1 has a first transport path 15, a reverse transport path 16 and a second transport path 19. The transport device 1 includes a reversing section 18 and a curl correction section 17. The first transport path 15 transports the sheet S on which an image is formed by the image forming section 300. The reverse transport path 16 is branched from the first transport path 15. The second transport path 19 is branched from the reverse transport path 16, and transports the sheet S back to the image forming section 300. The reversing section 18 and the curl correction section 17 are disposed on the reverse transport path 16. The reversing section 18 reverses a transport direction of the sheet S transported into the reverse transport path 16 so as to feed out the sheet S to the second transport path 19. The curl correction section 17 applies curl correction on the sheet S by urging the sheet S in a direction of forming a convex curl with a side opposite to the image-formed side facing outward.
