PURPOSE: To provide a transport device for a work piece of which layout can be easily changed or enlarged.

CONSTITUTION: The transport device for a work piece is provided with a base 2 for transport having a locking pin 3 of a loaded pallet 1 and formed with positioning holes 2c on the underside, a roller conveyor 8 loading and transporting the base 2, a stopper 12a arranged on the decided position of the roller conveyor 8 capably of being advanced and retreated against the transport passage of the base 2, positioning pins 14a, 14b arranged capably of being inserted and detached against the holes 2c of the base 2 stopped by abutting to the stopper 12a, and a pin 16 to bring down the pin 3 of the base 2 stopped by abutting to the stopper 12a so as to unlock the pallet 1.
