Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport mechanism for transporting an object to be transported from a certain position to a target position while keeping its posture constant, with a compact and simple structure.SOLUTION: A table 2 is provided between a transport start position 3a and a transport end position 3b. Both edge sides of the table 2 are provided with arm members 4, 6 facing each other and extending in an X direction. The arm members 4, 6 are driven in the X direction and a Y direction and constitute handlers for sandwiching a rack to hold it. The handlers 4,6 comprises first holding parts 4a, 6a on the side of the transport start position 3a and second holding parts 4b, 6b on the side of the transport end position 3b. The handlers 4, 6 hold the rack, having reached the transport start position 3a, at the first holding parts 4a, 6a to transport the rack onto the table 2, and then transfers the rack to the second holding parts 4b, 6b on the table 2 to transport the rack to the transport end position 3b.
