PURPOSE: To effectively prevent a blocked load from occurring at a converging point by improving a known transport apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A converging point 16 where one of transport paths 15 converges with the other transport path 7 is equipped with at least one additional contact surface 17, 19 for touching one of caddies passing through the converging point and imposing an additional motion component upon the caddy.
