Abstract:
To provide a transfer system which enables easy transfer of an object on a wagon conveyor set on a frame of a wagon onto a carrier machine, as the wagon with flexible casters is accurately pulled alongside the carrier machine fixed on a predetermined place, and which is applicable to the assembly line of automobile or the like.SOLUTION: A transfer system comprises a carrier machine 200 and a wagon 300. The wagon with a transferred object goes alongside the carrier machine for transfer of the object. The wagon has flexible casters 311 for moving freely. The carrier machine, when detecting the approach of the wagon, projects a wheel guiding plate 202 from a first actuator 203 and steers a guide wheel 312 of the wagon so that the wagon stops alongside the carrier machine. Then a frame with a wagon conveyor is pulled from the wagon toward the carrier machine to connect thoroughly with the conveyor of the carrier machine, and the object is easily transferred from the wagon to the carrier machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
