PURPOSE: To avoid interference between a steel belt and a supporting roller when a plurality of works in bundled state around which steel belts are laid are transported to a cutting off machine.

CONSTITUTION: Many supporting rollers 49, 51 to support a plurality of works W in bundled state are properly spacedly provided in the transporting direction, respective supporting rollers 49, 51 are movably provided between a supporting position capable of supporting the work and a support avoiding position capable of avoiding the supporting condition of the work W, and belt detecting devices 53 to detect position of the steel belts B are respectively provided in the positions close to the respective supporting rollers 49, 51. This transport table device is constituted so that when the steel belt B is detected by a certain belt detecting device 53, the positions of the corresponding supporting rollers 49, 51 are changed from the supporting positions to the support avoiding positions.
