Abstract:

To provide a transportable decontamination equipment for contaminated soil, which is capable of performing decontamination of contaminated soil at the site by reducing the equipment size and dividing the equipment into several units so that each of the units can be loaded onto a truck.

The contaminated soil decontamination process using this equipment comprises: dividing the equipment into 4 units, namely, a drying kiln unit A, a deodorization unit B, a retention kiln unit C and an off-gas treatment unit D; transporting each of the units A, B, C and D to the site by a truck; and assembling the units A, B, C and D into the equipment at the site to perform contaminated soil decontamination there. Thus, the need of cost, labor and time for transporting contaminated soil from the site to the treatment equipment by trucks, can be eliminated and also, the need of cost, labor and time for returning the treated soil from the treatment equipment to the site when the treated soil is recycled, can be eliminated and further, since the need of truck transportation of such soil can be eliminated, the treatment equipment is capable of contributing to relief of traffic congestion.
