To provide a transportation case having practicability and usefulness in the transportation of a heavy item, in particular, a precision instrument wherein the safety of the precision instrument is secured by a bottom and a lid member for absorbing shocks during the transportation of the precision instrument and both the fixing/removal of the precision instrument or the like to/from the case are carried out easily, fast and positively.

The case for mounting and fixing a desired instrument on a bottom plate comprising a frame body 11 giving weight and a shock-absorbing member 12 includes a support body corresponding to one side bottom of the instrument and a receiving plate provided at the support body for supporting the outer end of the instrument, and further includes a screw fixing part for the instrument. A fixing section for the bottom plate having screw holes is formed to protrude, and a fixing piece for pressing the side of the instrument is freely fixedly provided to the bottom plate at the other side of the instrument.
