PURPOSE: To continuously carry various kinds of printed circuit boards simultane ously by attaching a holding member for carrying boards to a chain conveyer so that its projecting length is adjustable, and in addition, by forming an engag ing portion at the rear end of the holding member and inclined surfaces on both sides of the conveyer so as to be engaged with the engaging portion and to be positioned adjustablly, and by automatically adjusting the projecting length with running of the conveyer.

CONSTITUTION: By operating a positioning means 40 by means of a handle (not shown in the figure), a guide member 30 is positioned so that an interval between tips of a right and left holding member 20 at an exit side of an inclined surface 31 of the guide member 30 at an upstream side of a chain conveyer 10 is equal to the width of a printed circuit board W. At the exit side of the inclined surface 32 of the guide member 30 at the downstream side, the interval X of the right and left holding member 20 is determined so as to be the maxi mum value. By this constitution, an engaging part 25 of the holding member 20 is guided by the inclined surfaces 31 ans 32, and the projecting length L is changed so as to be fit to the width W of the prited circuit board.
