During operation of a dust removal apparatus M, a filter block (f) taken out the dust removal apparatus M is temporarily positioned at a temporary positioning position and then the filter block f at the temporarily positioning position is transported to a washing apparatus V and washed there and at the same time another filter block f is installed at the position out of which the former filter block is taken. The filter block f washed by the washing apparatus V is positioned at a draining position where a current S flows to be drained and a next filter block f is taken out the dust removal apparatus M and positioned in the temporarily positioning position D. Those processes are repeated to successively wash filter blocks.
