The transporting device comprises an immovable section 1 and a movable section 2 disposed in the immovable section 1, and the movable section 2 is slid and projected in parallel with the immovable section 1 by a predetermined distance. The movable section 2 is constituted so that a first member, a second member to a n-th member are stacked and the n-th member is slid and projected from the n-1-th member by the predetermined distance. The n-th member of the movable section 2 is provided with a transporting section 13 for transporting a transported object, and the transported object is transported by the transporting section 13 by sliding and projecting the first member.
