To provide a transporting roller having sufficient frictional force on the outer face of a roller body made of a resin, and being lightened and easily manufactured.
The annular conductive resin roller body 21 is formed on an outer peripheral face of a shaft 11, and an outer face of the roller body 21 has the unevenness 22 formed by attaching a powder for forming projections by coating. The roller body 21 is preferably made of an injection moldable engineering plastic. Further, the roller body 21 preferably has the heat resistance of 10 to 30 minutes at 160°C or more, and the shaft 11 is made of a metal or a resin. The powder used for forming the unevenness by powder coating has a volume resistance of 106 (Ω cm) or less, and a conductive filler is preferably added thereto.
