Abstract:

To provide transverse cutting device and winding device for a material web.

This transverse cutting device 4 is for the material web 1 to be wound on a continuously supplied and successively prepared winding sleeve 3. The device 4 includes a cutter block 42 movable by traversing the material web 1 and drivable in a moving direction M by a driving device. In the cutter block 42, a cutting blade 41 for transversely cutting the material web 1 is held. The cutter block 42 is provided with an abutting brush 44 arranged by following the cutting blade 41. By the brush 44, a preceding end part 10 of the material web 1 formed when transversely cutting the material web 1 can be continuously abutted on the surrounding of the prepared winding sleeve 3. The winding device for winding the continuously traveling material web 1 on the successively prepared winding sleeve 3 is suggested. The winding device is equipped with the transverse cutting device.
