To easily replace a part of a solar battery integrated with transversely laid roof member after a construction work by forming an upper end engagement part and a lower end engagement part to such a shape as detachable after laying roof panels.
A transverse roof is formed out of a flexible metal substrate B101, a solar battery element B102, a sealing material B103, a terminal box B104 and a wiring member B105. The upper end engagement opening 107 and the lower end engagement opening B106 of the transverse roof are kept in contact and fixed to each other with a fastener or the like. Thus, when the lower end engagement opening B106 is released and presser members for joints at both sides are removed after a construction work, roof panels become such a status as having only the upper sides fixed. In this case, the roof panels are flexible and, therefore, can be peeled off after being laid. According to this construction, only a part of clips can be removed after the construction work, thereby allowing a part of the transversely laid roof panels to be easily changed even after the construction work.
