This motor-driven garage door is constituted so that electric power is generated by allowing an electric current to flow in a circuit when a door body 3 rotates in the closing direction by naturally falling by dead weight; the changeover switch SW3 for opening-closing the circuit is inserted into the circuit so that the electric current does not flow to the circuit when rotating so as to manually open and close the door body 3; the changeover switch SW3 is installed in an opening 20 arranged on a column 4; and a switch cover 22 for blocking up the opening 20 is detachably installed on the column 4. In this motor-driven garage door, a push button 21 is pushed and becomes an ON state in a state of installing the switch cover 22, and becomes an OFF state by releasing a press of the push button 21 in a state of removing the switch cover 22.
