PURPOSE: To provide a cart for work capable of traveling smoothly and stably even if a gauge between two rails is varied due to change in types of curved rails and in distance.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel holding member 2 is pivoted rotatably on the lower one side of a cart body 1. A drive wheel 3 is mounted rotatably on the wheel holding member 2. An electric motor 4 is mounted on the wheel holding member 2 to rotate drivingly the drive wheel 3. A slide frame 5 is supported by multiple slide rollers 6 provided under the cart body 1 slidably in longitudinal direction (in the direction of arrow P). A wheel holding member 7 is pivoted rotatably on the lower top end side of the slide frame 5. Also a follower wheel is mounted rotatably on the wheel holding member 7.
