Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure drivability and power performance during coasting traveling in an electric vehicle having an intermittent driving mode.SOLUTION: A control device (100) controls an electric vehicle having an intermittent driving mode of periodically repeating coasting traveling that causes power supply to a driving wheel to stop and moderate acceleration traveling accompanied by the power supply from a power source to the driving wheel. The control device includes: prediction means for predicting whether or not acceleration/deceleration traveling is performed; and control means for controlling an operating state of a rotating machine in an execution period of the coasting traveling to a first operating state where current carrying to the rotating machine is maintained when the intermittent driving mode is performed in the case where it is predicted that the acceleration/deceleration traveling is performed, and for controlling the operating state of the rotating machine in the execution period of the coasting traveling to a second operating state where current carrying to the rotating machine is stopped when the intermittent driving mode is performed in the case where it is predicted that the acceleration/deceleration traveling is not performed.
