Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device capable of performing speed control which is suitable for travel characteristics of a saddle-riding vehicle, and supporting properly driving of a saddle-riding vehicle in exit time of an expressway.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding vehicle 1 comprises a travel control device. The travel control device recognizes a fact that, a vehicle 1 is traveling to a direction where a lamp 5 or 6 for connecting an expressway 2 and an open road 4 is made to exit the expressway 2 by a GPS receiver, a vehicle speed sensor, an angular speed sensor, map data or the like. In addition, the travel control device recognizes whether the vehicle 1 is traveling on a curve section or non-curve section on the lamp 5 or 6. When the vehicle 1 travels on the non-curve section, the travel control device reduces the speed of the vehicle 1. When the vehicle 1 travels on the curve section, the travel control device reduces the speed of the vehicle 1 to speed by a degree smaller than a degree when the speed of the vehicle 1 is reduced when the vehicle 1 travel on the non-curve section, or does not perform control of reducing the speed of the vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
