It is decided whether a vehicle speed Va when operating an ACC set SW is the vehicle speed Vm1-Vm2 close to the automatic travel release speed VX or not, it is decided whether a vehicle speed V is decreased or not, and an addition vehicle speed Va+V obtained by adding a prescribed speed V to the vehicle speed Va when operating the ACC set SW as the automatic travel speed VA, when both the decisions are positive when operating the ACC set SW.
