The traveling circular saw machine 1 is equipped with a table 10 of which on the upper surface the material 11 to be cut is placed; a moving cutting mechanism 20 equipped with a circular saw 21 for cutting the material 11 to be cut by being projected from an upper surface of the table 10 to carry out reciprocative linear motion; a positioning component 40 wherein it is provided parallel to a rectilineal moving direction of the circular saw 21 to abut against the material 11 to be cut; a position controlling mechanism 50 wherein a position of the positioning component 40 is moved in a direction crossing at right angles the rectilineal moving direction of the circular saw 21; an indicating card 60 on which information on cutting work dimensions of the material 11 to be cut is recorded; a read means 70 for reading the information recorded on the indication card 60; and a control means 80 for controlling the position controlling means 50 from the read information.
