Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a hydraulic pipe, etc. from being broken when it collides with an outside obstacle, by devising the layout structure for a hydraulic drive mechanism and a control mechanism thereof so that these mechanisms are disposed within the width of crawler shoes which are formed in a relatively narrow width. CONSTITUTION:The traveling frame 1 of a crawler type vehicle has a lug-like section 1a formed therein with through-holes 2 and a reinforcing rib 1b integrally secured to the outer edge of the lug-like section 1a, a casing 3 being attached to the frame 1 by means of bolts 5... fitted in the through-holes 2. The rotary shaft 15 of a swash-type hydraulic motor 12 which is disposed in a hydraulic motor chamber 11 within this casing 3, is projected outward and connected to a gear reduction mechanism 31 coupled to a rotary wheel 21. Further, the hydraulic motor 12 is coupled to one end face of a control block 10 which is attached to the casing 3, and which is provided at its the other end face with a parking brake 44 and is composed of a control valve assembly 74 incorporating a counter balance valve and a relief valve.
