Title:
TRAVELING DEVICE IN SERVICE WAGON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3580602
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a service car to be made to smoothly travel from the floor surface of the horizontal corridor to the floor surface of the upward inclined corridor, by horizontally providing a reciprocating deceleration rotary shaft on a lower surface center part of the service wagon chassis, supporting the center part of a forked leg in which rotary shaft traveling driving wheels are provided on both ends, and providing respective traveling driving wheels so that they may be raised and separated from the floor surface.
SOLUTION: When a service wagon 11 is made to travel from the horizontal corridor floor surface 8 to the upward inclined floor surface 8' in a state where a reciprocating deceleration rotary shaft 2 is stopped by a brake motor, a forked leg 5 is downward turned by force of a coil spring in the movement from the floor surface 8 to the floor surface 8', and right and left traveling driving wheels 6 are brought in pressure contact with the boundary part between both floor surfaces 8, 8'. Accordingly, when the driving wheels 6 are turned by a driving motor 16 through a differential gear, the service wagon 11 can travel on the inclined floor surface 8'. When the direction of a chassis 1 is perpendicularly changed, the brake motor is reversely rotated, the forked leg 5 and the traveling driving wheels 6 are raised from the floor surface 8, and the chassis 1 is perpendicularly rotated by being supported only by casters 14 on four corners.
