PURPOSE: To facilitate the transport of a large structure by fitting multiple cylinder devices provided with a ground wheel at the lower end of a piston rod to the bottom side of the large structure and allowing each cylinder unit to be operated by the high-pressure fluid from a bottle provided on each cylinder unit.
CONSTITUTION: When a large structure 16 conveyed on a ship is next to be transported on the land, multiple traveling devices A are fitted to the lower side of the large structure 16 moved from the ship onto a quay with a crane in a checkered pattern, for example. Next, a command is given to individual radio pressure setters 23 with a radio equipment on a trailer to switch a discharge/injection transfer valve 26 to an injection state. Thereby, the fluid in a bottle 24 is injected into the pressure chamber 14 of each cylinder unit 10, then the large structure 16 is unloaded, and the ground wheel 23 at the lower end of each piston rod 13 is grounded. Next, the trailer and the large structure 16 are connected with a towing rod, thus allowing the tractive travel of the large structure 16.
