To prevent a crawler belt from being deviated and come off in the left/right in abruptly turning a machine body or traveling on a slope by guiding the inside face and the outside face of an idler rotation wheel.
In a crawler type traveling device, core metals 310 are arranged in a crawler belt 309 at some intervals in the center part in the left/right width direction and in an approximate center part in the vertical thickness direction of the crawler belt 309. The core metal 310 has inner claw parts 310, 310a and outer claw parts 310b, 310b projected inward, left/right symmetrically and a drive wheel body projected between the inner claw part 310a and the inner claw part 310a so as to be fitted therein at some interval. The interval between the inner claw parts 310a and the outer claw parts 310b guides the crawler belt 309 as an interval for fitting left/right rollers 307a, 307b of an idler rotation wheel 307 so as to prevent the belt 309 from being deviated and come off in the left/right direction. If the machine body is turned abruptly, this constitution prevent the crawler belt from being deviated and come off.
