To provide a power generation device and a traveling device having an engine inclusively using fuel gas related to easily acquirable conventional fossil fuel, while achieving clean combustion by using hydrogen gas.
This traveling device travels by driving an electric motor 63 by electric power of a generator 52 driven by the engine 36 for burning the fuel gas, and has: hydrogen 1 as the fuel gas; a sending pipe of the respective fuel gases for respectively sending the other fuel gas 2 of higher calorie than at least the hydrogen; a supply pipe 31 of the fuel gas collectively sent to one pipe via an opening-closing means from the sending pipe of the respective fuel gases; and a variable pressure governor 34 set in the supply pipe. The device is constituted so that the variable pressure governor supplies the fuel gas under proper pressure by selecting pressures respectively adapted to the hydrogen and the other fuel gas when supplying the fuel gas via the supply pipe of the fuel gas.
