To provide a traveling equipment capable of enhancing the safety and the working efficiency thereof (capable of preventing feet of a worker from being swept off by a groove or preventing a small component from falling in the groove since a covering member driven by the travel of a traveling device is formed on the groove).

The traveling equipment 10 comprises a traveling device 15 traveling along a predetermined traveling path, a follow-up device 21 driven following the traveling device 15 under a floor 18, and a connection unit 22 for connecting the traveling device 15 to the follow-up device 21 through a groove 20 formed in a floor 19 so as to pass immediately below the traveling device 15. A plate chain 30 is installed in the groove 20 so as to cover the groove 20 and follow the travel of the traveling device 15. In the traveling equipment 10, the groove 20 is covered by the plate chain 30 following the travel of the traveling device 15, thus, preventing the feet of a worker from being swept off by the groove 20, and preventing any component from falling in the groove 20, and enhancing the safety and the workability of the traveling equipment 10.
