To perform efficient work by automatically controlling engine speed during work load fluctuation to maintain complex performance of traveling and a working actuator well in a traveling hydraulic working machine capable of performing work based on engine speed intended by an operator during complex operation of traveling and the working actuator.
This traveling hydraulic working machine is provided with input means 42, 43 for commanding the target rotating speed of an engine 1; first detecting means 44, 47 for detecting the operating state of an hydraulic actuator 13 and the like; second detecting means 45, 46 for detecting the operating state of traveling means; and prime mover rotating speed control means 48, 51-59. When the operating state of the hydraulic actuator 13 and the like detected by the first detecting means 44, 47, and the operating state of the traveling means detected by the second detecting means 45, 46, are respectively put in specific states, the prime mover rotating speed control means 48, 51-59 correct the target rotating speed of a prime mover 1 to control the rotating speed of the prime mover.
